User Agreement

1. Scope

This Agreement applies to every visit and every action taken on the Mnadani website or app. It is a supplement to, not a replacement for, the Terms of Service.

2. Who this applies to

• Buyers — registered users who bid on or purchase items.
• Sellers — verified users who list items for sale or auction.
• Visitors — anyone browsing without an account.

3. Buyer commitments

• Pay for every bid you win and every buy-it-now checkout you complete.
• Provide a delivery address in Tanzania and be reachable on the phone number on file.
• Inspect items on delivery and confirm receipt or open a dispute within 3 days.
• Post reviews that reflect your actual experience.

4. Seller commitments

• Complete KYC to the tier that fits your business — see Seller verification.
• Only list items you own, are legally allowed to sell, and can ship within the stated handling time.
• Describe items accurately (condition, size, defects) with your own photos.
• Ship promptly, upload the courier ticket, and update the estimated delivery date.
• Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours.
• Honour your return policy and cooperate with disputes.

5. Visitors

You may browse, search, view listings, and read reviews without an account. Placing a bid, buying, messaging a seller, or leaving a review requires an account.

6. Content licence

You keep ownership of content you post. You grant Mnadani a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, moderate, and reasonably promote that content in connection with the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for backups and content that must be retained by law.

7. Reviews & ratings

Reviews are seller-only and must be based on a completed transaction. Buyers appear with member-since and completed-orders badges but are not rated. Reviews may not include personal data, off-platform contacts, hate speech, or paid endorsements. We may remove reviews that break these rules.

8. Messages & communications

Messaging is provided so buyers and sellers can coordinate about a listing, order, or dispute. Do not use it to share off-platform contacts, ask for off-platform payment, harass, or send unrelated marketing.

9. Wallet, gift cards & coupons

Your Mnadani wallet stores balances from refunds, seller earnings, and gift-card redemptions. Wallet funds are not deposits, earn no interest, and can only be used on Mnadani or withdrawn per the payout policy. Gift cards are prepaid, non-refundable, and expire per the terms shown at purchase. Coupons are single-use, non-transferable, and can be withdrawn at any time.

10. No off-platform payments

Every payment for a Mnadani listing must run through Mnadani checkout. Requesting or accepting payment outside the platform (bank transfer, cash, other wallets) removes buyer protection, forfeits escrow, and is grounds for account closure.

11. Third-party services

Mnadani integrates with our verified payment partner (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Supabase (data), and Cloudflare (delivery). Your use of the Services is also subject to the terms of these providers where they apply.

12. Account transfer

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, lease, or share your account credentials.

13. Notices

We send notices to the email and phone number on your account. Legal notices to Mnadani should be sent via the Contact page.

14. Dispute resolution

Order-level disputes go through Mnadani's built-in dispute process. Disputes about the User Agreement itself follow the governing law and venue set out in the Terms of Service.

15. Changes

We may update this Agreement. Material updates will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect.
